FORT WORTH ZOO
Toyota™ Children’s Ranch
The Children’s Ranch is the Fort Worth Zoo’s latest exhibit. I was asked to create the hand painted signage and elements for this exhibit. From detailed trains to hand lettered directionals, this body of work is reminiscent of the wild west. Completed in the summer of 2019, This exhibit features an expanded area for children (and adults!) to get up close to and share space with animals, including goats and sheep. Guests also have the opportunity to meet and pet many other Texas farm animals, including miniature donkeys, pigs, a longhorn calf, chickens, snakes, and more, all while learning about these animals and how to care for them. The Toyota Children's Ranch will also have goat brushing, regular keeper chats and demonstrations and an area for children to mine for gems and fossils. This up close and interactive experience is one you won't want to miss!
African Savanna
Fort Worth zoo
Completed in the Spring of 2018, this project is located in the "Hippo Hub"area. It encompasses two buildings (Safari Snacks and Restroom), shade structures, directional signage, trash barrels, and graphic poster art. Inspired by African tribal art and culture, the artwork enhances the surroundings and compliments the animals and their habitats.
